History
April 1914 Founded in the city of Nishinomiya as Yamamura Glass Works.
January 1955 The company was incorporated as Yamamura Glass Co., Ltd.
October 1960 Manufacturing plant for plastic containers completed and production starts.
January 1961 Tokyo Plant completed in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture and production starts.
May 1970 The company listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange (First Section) and Osaka Securities Exchange (First Section) .
December 1972 The company enters the recycling business.
May 1980 Harima Plant completed in Harima-cho, Kako-gun, Hyogo Prefecture and production starts.
July 1987 New Glass Research Center opens.
October 1987 Kansai Plant (plastics) completed in Harima-cho, Kako-gun, Hyogo Prefecture and production starts.
April 1989 Merger with Hiroshima Glass Kogyo Co.,Ltd.
October 1995 Utsunomiya Plant (plastics) completed in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture and production starts.
October 1998 Yamamura Glass Co.,Ltd. and Nippon Glass Co.,Ltd. merge to form Nihon Yamamura Glass Co.,Ltd.
October 2000 The company system was introduced, converting the engineering and new glass businesses into internal companies.
April 2001 The Glass Bottle and Plastics divisions are reorganized as internal companies.
April 2002 The Shared Services center is reorganized as an internal company.
